Who we are

If you are just looking around
We do not use cookies. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel and no advertising on this site. Nothing is stored on your device, and we have no idea who you are unless you contact us.
To put the page on your screen your browser fetches files from a few other companies, and they see your IP address as part of that:
- Cloudflare — hosts the site
- Google Fonts — the typefaces
- jsDelivr — the mapping software
- OpenStreetMap — the map images
If you send a booking request
We ask for:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The date, time, number of guests and what you would like
- Any allergies or dietary requirements
- Anything else you choose to tell us in the notes
We use it to get back to you, to confirm or decline the booking, and to be ready for your visit. We do not sell your details, and we will not send you marketing unless you ask us to.
Our legal basis
- Most of the request — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- Allergies and dietary requirements — this counts as health information, so we rely on your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)). You do not have to tell us, but we cannot cater safely without it.
Who else sees it
- Cloudflare — briefly holds your request while it waits for an answer
- Resend — sends the emails between us
- TO CONFIRM: the email provider the inbox is with, for example Google/Gmail
How long we keep it
- While your request is waiting for an answer — held until a week after the date you asked for.
- Once we have answered — your details are deleted. All that remains is a note that a request with that reference was approved or declined, kept for 90 days so the link in our email cannot be used twice.

Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to what we do with it, or to have it sent somewhere else. Where we rely on your consent — the allergy information — you can withdraw it at any time.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their details. A booking made by an adult may of course include children in the party — we only need to know how many people are coming, not who they are.
Changes to this notice
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and the date at the top.
