Booking Terms

A request is not a booking yet
When you send the form you are asking for a booking, not confirming one. Nothing is held for you until we email you back to say yes. If we cannot fit you in we will tell you, and we will usually suggest something we can do instead.
We need 48 hours' notice
Afternoon teas, charcuterie boards and celebration cakes are all made to order, so we need at least 48 hours to get everything ready. The booking form will not let you choose a time sooner than that.
Changing or cancelling
Please give us as much notice as you can: TO CONFIRM: how much notice is needed to cancel, for example 24 hours The quickest way is to ring us on 07309 031233.
TO CONFIRM: whether there is any charge for a late cancellation or a no-show — or say plainly that there is not
Allergies and dietary requirements
Tell us on the booking form and we will do everything we can to look after you. Please also mention it when you arrive.
TO CONFIRM: the kitchen’s allergen statement. This one matters: can you guarantee against cross-contamination, or is the kitchen one where nuts, gluten and dairy are all handled? Say so honestly
Prices and payment
TO CONFIRM: prices for afternoon tea, charcuterie boards and celebration cakes
TO CONFIRM: whether anything is paid up front, or it is all settled on the day
Larger groups
TO CONFIRM: the largest party you can take, and anything that works differently for big groups
If we have to cancel
Very occasionally something is out of our hands. If we cannot go ahead we will let you know as soon as we possibly can, and TO CONFIRM: what happens then — a refund, or rebooking for another day
